Christmas, a time of Giving Back

Christmas and Giving Back to the community.. that is what it's all about.. so this Christmas, bring joy to others with an act of kindness.

That is exactly what we, A Paw To Your Heart do.. we raise awareness for overlooked dogs every Friday on Instagram and at the same time shine a light on shelters who need our help.

Shelters everywhere are in trouble because people keep dumping their dogs, now more than ever. Less donations are coming in.

One of our favorite shelters is Vucjack in Serbie. they are still having a hard time.. no dogs could leave the country to their forever homes during covid and the shelter is overwhelmed daily with sick, injured and unwanted dogs that are left at their gate. Winter is here and they are helping over 1500 animals stay safe (they usually have 600) and need our help 🙏

@vucjakshelter is getting creative in keeping all the dogs warm and safe.

They created a list what is needed, and who can afford can donate.

You can also select one of the shelterdogs to sponsor till they find a home.. ⏩ Meet Zujka, my sponsor pup, a 10 year old shy sweetie.

Go to @vucjakshelterteam on Instagram or go to their website https://www.vucjakshelter.org and see if there is a pup you love to sponsor. It's 32euro/month ($39) and you can even donate as group if this is to expensive in these corona times..

or if you are living in the US and would love to support @vucjackshelter, you can shop at @bonesandme and support the shelter that way.

Otherwise sharing is the way to go 🙂😉

Dale Evans Rogers: "Christmas, my child, is love in action. Every time we love, every time we give, it's Christmas."

W. C. Jones: "The joy of brightening other lives, bearing each others' burdens, easing other's loads and supplanting empty hearts and lives with generous gifts becomes for us the magic of Christmas."
